Hardware Upgrades

¨       Memory Upgrades – Install additional memory and/or replace old memory; verify functionality upon completion.

¨       Processor Upgrades - Upgrade processor, if possible; verify functionality upon completion.

¨       Hard Drive Upgrades – Install a new hard drive or replace a defective hard drive; installation includes transfer of data from existing drive to new drive; verify functionality upon completion.

¨       Peripheral Cards Upgrade – Install or replace: video, audio, network interface, USB, modem; installation includes configure of new peripherals and verify functionality upon completion.

¨       Printer / Scanner Install - Install and configure unit / software and verify functionality upon completion.

Software Upgrades

¨       Operating System Upgrade - Upgrade to new operating system of customers choice; Upgrade is limited to MicrosoftÓ products and must meet Microsoft’s OS minimum system requirements.

¨       Install Software - Install and verify software functions properly.

PC Protection

¨       Virus Protection - Ensure your PC is not infected with any known viruses; install virus protection and configure it for maximum PC protection.

¨       Ad-Ware / Spy-Ware Protection - Ensure your PC is not infected with any known spy-ware software which tracks your Internet usage for third-party marketing companies; install ad-ware / spy-ware protection and configure it for maximum PC protection.

¨       Parental Control - Install software that enables parents to monitor and control what websites and people your child interacts with online.

¨       Web Pop-Up Stopper – Install software that helps prevent pop-ups from interrupting your Web usage.

¨       Firewall Protection - Install a hardware solution that helps block out potential “hackers” before they can attack your personal files.

¨       Spam Stopper – Install software that helps prevent those annoying, unwanted SPAM emails.  

Home Networking (Wired and Wireless Solutions)

With the rise of multiple PCs in the home, many people have the need to have the Internet on more than one PC, share printers and other resources.  The latest home networking solutions from companies such as LinksysÓ, BelkinÓ, MicrosoftÓ, NetgearÓ and D-LinkÓ, are both affordable and easy to use. 

PC Patch-Up™ will come to your site and evaluate your network needs.  We will provide a proposed solution based on your particular needs.  PC Patch-Up™ offers both traditional wired solutions as well as the latest in wireless solutions (A, B and G).  We will explain how the systems differ and help you choice the most affordable solution that meets your specific requirements.  PC Patch-Up™ will also ensure that your network addresses all of your security issues as well.

PC Repair

Nobody enjoys when a computer freezes up or when they cannot access the Internet because the modem isn’t responding.  PC Patch-Up™ is available to help diagnose the issues and provide solutions for rectifying the problems.  As always, if possible, PC Patch-Up™ will try to solve the issues at the customers’ site; however, if the problem requires us to return the unit to our shop, we will come back to the customers’ site for re-installation. 

PC Maintenance / Optimization

Many times customers will feel that their PC is not operating at the speed or consistency they expect.  In some cases this is due to so issue or simply from having a “clutter” system.  PC Patch-Up™ offers a preventative maintenance / optimization package which will help “tune-up” your PC for optimal use.

New PC Setup

Do you want to buy a new PC but the computer ads are confusing you?  No problem!  PC Patch-Up™ can help you not only purchase a new computer that meets all of your particular needs but can also set it up for you eliminating the hassle of calling a 800 number for troubleshooting.  PC Patch-Up™ also can purchase PCs directly from our suppliers and provide you with a system equivalent to those expensive big name PC companies. 

Website Management

PC Patch-Up™ can help setup and manage a website for you.  We will assist you in getting a domain name registered (e.g. www.yourcompany.com).  We will create a website for you if you do not already have one.  In addition,  PC Patch-Up™ can help you establish your own e-mail through your domain (e.g. yourname@yourcompany.com).  We also have monthly management plans if you would like to have us manage and update your website.
