| Dear Valued Customers:
Like many small businesses,
PC Patch-Up™
started off as a hobby. For almost 20 years, I've been interested in working with computers. Whether it was for school, work, or just fun, working on PCs has always seemed to come easy for me.
When it came time for college, I decided to expand my knowledge of PCs and electronics by completing my Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. The main focus of my BSEE degree was in microcontrollers / microprocessors and the programming of them. These devices are the "brains" in all PCs and most consumer products on the market today.
My EE degree landed me a job with Thomson Consumer Electronics (RCA) where I was hired as a software/electrical design engineer. My
responsibilities included the writing of software and programming of microcontrollers used in many common consumer electronic products such as remote controls, antennas and set-top boxes. I spent the next few years strengthening my technical skills while also learning the business side of several technology companies (i.e. telecommunications, fiber optics, consumer electronics). Often I would be asked by friends and family for help with PC problems and enjoyed solving their issues. I later went back to school and earned my MBA from Pennsylvania State University. Utilizing the skills learned from both worlds, technical and business, I was able to mold them into a viable business.
What originally started out as a hobby 20 years ago, has now been transformed in
PC Patch-Up™. Whether you are a
residential or small-business customer, we look forward to helping you solve your PC issues and needs.
Sincerely,
Nathan Andrews, Proprietor |
